چکیده

The objective of this in-vitro study is evaluation remineralization potential three agents- Tricalcium phosphate flouride(TCP-F), Calcium sucrose phosphate(CaSP), Casein phosphopeptide- amorphous calcium phosphate(CPP-ACP) in artificial enamel lesion using laser fluorescence based DIAGNOdent(KaVo). 30 single rooted premolars were selected. Samples randomly divided into 3 groups with 10 samples each. Baseline values recorded before any intervention. A 4mmx4mm window was prepared on the buccal surface which then subjected to demineralization for 96 hr at 37°C. DIAGNOdent after demineralization. Remineralization done Group I TCP-F, II CaSP, III CPP-ACP remineralizing agents. analysis 72hrs, 7days, 14 days. data analyzed variance (ANOVA) and Post Hoc test. All showed significant difference baseline, post remineralization. TCP-F group maximum followed by CaSP groups. a reliable non-invasive caries detecting device measure early are proven possess properties.

Remineralization of artificial enamel lesions by theobromine.

OBJECTIVE This study investigated the remineralization potential of theobromine in comparison to a standard NaF dentifrice. METHODS Three tooth blocks were produced from each of 30 teeth. Caries-like lesion was created on each block using acidified gel. A smaller block was cut from each block for baseline scanning electron microscopy imaging and electron-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) analysis...

Remineralization of enamel subsurface lesions in situ by the use of three commercially available sugar-free gums.

BACKGROUND Commercially available sugar-free chewing gums have been claimed to provide oral health benefits. AIM The aim of this randomized, double-blind crossover in situ study was to compare the efficacy of three commercially available sugar-free chewing gums: Trident White, Orbit, and Orbit Professional, in remineralizing enamel subsurface lesions in situ. DESIGN Specimens containing ena...

Effect of Different Topical Agents on Remineralization of Early Enamel Lesion– an in vitro Study

Objective: This study aimed to compare the effect of using Casein phosphopeptide – amorphous calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP) paste, Remin-Pro and Fluoride Varnish on remineralization of enamel lesions. Methods: In this experimental-in vitro study, 60 intact premolars and molars were used and flat enamel surfaces were prepared. The specimens were divided into 6 groups (N=10). After primary DIAGNO...

Remineralization of Enamel Subsurface Lesions

The aim of the present study was to determine the remineralization effects of xylitol chewing gum containing funoran and calcium hydrogenphosphate on enamel subsurface lesions in humans. The study was a double-blind, randomized, cross-over design, with 4 types of gum: (1) xylitol gum, (2) xylitol gum containing funoran and calcium hydrogenphosphate, (3) sugar gum, and (4) gum base as a control....

Laser ultrasonic evaluation of human dental enamel during remineralization treatment

In this work a non-destructive laser ultrasonic technique is used to quantitatively evaluate the progressive change in the elastic response of human dental enamel during a remineralization treatment. The condition of the enamel was measured during two weeks treatment using laser generated and detected surface acoustic waves in sound and demineralized enamel. Analysis of the acoustic velocity di...
